Vivienne Jolie has also stopped using “Pitt” in her professional credits, notably during her work as a volunteer assistant on the Broadway adaptation of The Outsiders. Zahara, meanwhile, was introduced at her college graduation in 2026 using only her mother’s last name.

The changes have been widely discussed in the media, though most reports indicate the actions are personal legal decisions rather than public statements. Zahara’s graduation from Spelman College also drew attention when she appeared under the name Zahara Marley Jolie.

Reports suggest Brad Pitt has been deeply affected by the growing distance within the family, with sources claiming he was upset over missing Zahara’s graduation. At the same time, their son Pax is said to have a more complicated but still ongoing relationship with his father’s side of the family.
