If your veins are visible in your hand, it is a signal

Visible veins are often completely harmless and may simply reflect normal changes in the body. Aging, regular exercise, genetics, or having a low percentage of body fat can all make veins appear more noticeable without signaling any underlying health problem.
However, if veins suddenly become more prominent, swollen, tender, or painful, they could indicate an issue with circulation. One common cause is chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition in which weakened vein valves allow blood to collect in the legs. Over time, this increased pressure can cause veins to enlarge and twist, resulting in varicose veins.
Varicose veins are a common sign of poor venous circulation and may lead to aching, heaviness, cramping, or swelling in the legs. A more serious condition is deep vein thrombosis (DVT), where a blood clot forms in a deep vein, most often in the leg. Although the clot itself cannot usually be seen, it may affect blood flow and make nearby surface veins appear more visible. DVT requires prompt medical evaluation because of the risk of serious complications.
In some cases, prominent veins may also be associated with congestive heart failure (CHF). When the heart cannot pump blood efficiently, pressure may build up in the veins, making those in the neck, arms, or legs stand out more. This may occur alongside symptoms such as swelling, fatigue, and shortness of breath. Since changes in vein appearance can have causes ranging from harmless to serious, any sudden or unexplained changes should be assessed by a healthcare professional.
