Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after an altercation with another inmate at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey. According to reports from NBC News and TMZ, the confrontation began after another inmate allegedly insulted the music producer. Correctional officers intervened quickly, and authorities have not released additional details about the incident.

Combs, 56, is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution following his 2025 trial. Although he was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, the convictions resulted in his imprisonment at the federal facility located on a military base outside Philadelphia.

His projected release date is February 2028, taking into account credit for the time he spent in custody while awaiting trial in New York City. It is not yet known whether the reported fight or his placement in solitary confinement will have any effect on his sentence or expected release.
